Interesting, I did not know that.
I hope now that cameras are cheap and common that they will start adding them to busses to cover those blind spots. Not a perfect solution, but better than nothing.
I do not see any dimensions mentioned on the linked page. Is a google pixel 8 small enough?

I saw a cop on the news a few years ago saying he smelled alcohol on someone's breath as justification for stopping someone. Not sure that was factual.
There's always some bullshit reason they can use to stop someone and then bullshit charges they can apply.
I agree, that was good.
My major takeaway is that neutral networks, and AI in general, are mostly pattern recognition with a little bias and weighting thrown in to improve accuracy.
And that is why I question all the supposedly amazing things people seem to think it will do and many of the applications of AI.
I have this problem with a LOT of products: Dry shampoo, beard butter, bars of soap, liquid soap, etc. I will probably be OK with a little scent on things but it is almost always actually an overwhelming amount of scent. So I will go out of my way now to get unscented things like this. Often this means I have to find it on the internet because they don't sell the unscented stuff in stores.
Sometimes I want to smell better and that's why I have cologne. I'd like to choose my scent and not wear many scents at once.

What does the method matter?
That's my point. If we're going to ban AI fakes should we then ban ALL fakes? Where do we draw the line and how do we do that without limiting free speech? I'm not sure it is possible.
And the days of believing everything you see are over but most don't know it yet.
How different is photoshopped fakes from AI fakes? Are we going to try to bad that too?
