Use that learning opportunity for your future. That's the main thing. And maybe a change of scenery won't hurt. I doubt you'll reconcile with your manager and coworkers, so you might as well take the other job offer, if it's alright.

Hmmh, that's usually postponed until after a war is over. At least to gather the exact numbers. But the other side isn't going to conceal it. They're going to brag about it. So we'll know anyways.

Not enough time? Biden withdrew. It was less than 4 months to election. No one had prepared and there wasn't many people prepared to step in and take over. She kinda was, so it was the obvious choice. If they had started a lengthy process or demonstrated to be weak and a t odds, that would have made them lose the election right then and there.

Don't worry about that. We pay a few of our own journalists to live in the US and report the news. I occasionally read or watch both the European and unfiltered American reporting and they're not alike. I think we still get a picture resembling something close to the truth. At least generally speaking.

Rule 2.

But sure, we can do that. It's not particularly difficult to find news from the US in other parts of the world.

Probably drank from the Kool-Aid during Covid times.

If it's a good escape plan you might help someone. I mean as long as it doesn't require concealment to succeed. And I guess a lot of plans like "find a job abroad" don't really need to be kept secret.

Probably everything you can being to the table. That can be very different things, depending on the person. I'd say a good first step is to organize and gather people. And then you can brainstorm within the group. See what resources you have available and where they'd fit and yield the most return. Yeah, and maybe don't do what people did until now. That already failed. So try something new.

Yeah, I also heard that argument on TV.

Fair enough. Yes I figured you probably wouldn't have a M40 lying around by accident 😅

They're the political opposition now. They should do what good opposition work includes. Hold the government accountable, force them to deliver results. Make the people pay attention and realize if their bills become less or more expensive. And I'd say re-consider life-choices. And make some fundamental changes. Maybe start a new political party if the Democrats are beyond hope.

Maybe you should do the maths on other options. You could get a refurbished PC for $350. Or buy the dock anyways. Or spend the money on cloud compute if you're just occasionally using AI. Idk.
