I think it makes a lot of sense. Billionaires are finite in number and they're people just like us.

I don't think it really matters, just don't dox yourself and you should be fine.
Also you can have multiple accounts on different instances and stuff if you want.
And I don't think you can tell that much by just upvotes and downvotes. I often times downvote stuff I've seen re-posted too much in different instances. I don't want to see the same thing dozens of times ofc, doesn't mean I necessarily have an issue with the content.
Lastly I bet most people don't use that website anyway. I don't. What good does it do me to see who downvotes me? If we disagree on something... that's allowed.

The way I see it the biggest issue is the lack of law enforcement. It creates a driving culture where by respecting the law you're just a "sucker", because you constantly see other drivers not respecting it and getting ahead.
Drivers get mad at you if you're only driving at the legal speed limit. You're impeding the flow of traffic and are being dangerous they argue.
Even running red lights is somewhat common nowadays because unless you actually cause a crash then nothing happens. It's not like you get fined or stopped by the police - there is no police and there are no cameras.
