It's a beautiful watch! I was planning to get this for my mum's birthday. Does it feel light or is it on the heavier side?

This made my day LOL, thanks!
Just wanted to share a quick low-light shot of the Ball Engineer Master II GMT (ref: GM1032-S1-BK) from my previous post since some people were asking about the glow.
Since it's been sitting in a box for close to 20 years without a service, the glow is very faint. I took a 6 second exposure shot of the watch to get the best possible look at it. I absolutely LOVE the different colours, and I really want to swap in new tritium tubes to get it back to it's full glory.
I still haven't taken it to a Ball service center yet so I don't know if they have fitting tritium tubes for this specific model, but I gave them a call for a quotation on tritium tubes replacement in general. Got a quote for roughly $17 for a single tube. Since I have 16 tubes here, that amounts to $272 to swap them all. It's pricey, but damn would I love to see this glow like brand new again.
Faint glow or not, still love this watch to bits!
You've got great tastes! Lots of good looking watches under the Engineer II lineup, I hope you snatch one up and take nice pics of it, would love to see!
I agree! His taste is amazing, honestly felt like a kid in a candy store when I opened up his watch box, so many beautiful gems there
It really is a beautiful watch, and I'm glad my dad got this in his collection! He really loves his watches, I hope I can get him a nice watch as a gift soon!
I browse Chrono24 on the daily for fun actually LOL, but right now just saving cash for other things!
That's an absolutely gorgeous dial! I wish I collected watches sooner, would've loved to pick one up when they were available here in SE Asia. Yours looks pristine 👌🏻
Thanks for reaching out, that's good news! My mum is very picky with weight so if it's light I'll take your word for it, cheers!
