The EU really needs to make a decision: act like you're the good guys while fooling no one because you are buying weapons from the bad guys or actually be the good guys and not fund genocide.

Yet to date, there has been no explanation as to who is responsible for spying on these journalists. The attacks occurred in early 2025.

AP mentions the Italian government might be behind it, they don't offer any proof but can't imagine they'd make such aligation without reason.

ROME (AP) — Spyware from a U.S.-backed Israeli company was used to target the phones of at least three prominent journalists in Europe, two of whom are editors at an investigative news site in Italy, according to digital researchers at Citizen Lab, citing new forensic evidence of the attacks.

The findings come amid a growing questions about what role the government of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni may have played in spying on journalists and civil society activists critical of her leadership, and raised new concerns about the potential for abuse of commercial spyware, even in democratic countries.

In the republics of Sakha and Dagestan, sewage systems are absent from as many as 41% of all school buildings; in Tyva, that is true for more than half of all schools.

A good reminder of how little Russian rulers care about the dirt poor people in their 'colonies'.

Probably doesn't help that a lot is wood and panels, instead of brick or concrete. If you live near a busy street with insulated windows you can almost completely block out the noise nowadays (Although you're still stuck with the pollution and can't really open the windows), but technology can really counter some of those problems. But i wouldn't fight the system on my own, so I probably would do the same in your position.

Well nato soldiers do a lot of shit, sometimes with permission of or even ordered by their superiors, there are numerous war crimes that have not been put to justice. But that doesn't mean that it would be willing to bomb civilians as a means when it comes to a war against russia. Nato and putin adhere to very different principles, not just moral ones.

Some are more deadly than others though

They all want to live in a detached single home (is that how you call it?), so not enough density for a store to make profit. Glad I don't live there tbh.
