What I like with UK subtitles, is that different characters get different colours. With translation subtitles this never seems to happen.

Sue me - change me into Susan

I guess.

Yes, happy to expand it to Ireland. I'm not excluding general European content anyway, so it will fit nicely here.

Outlook. It's obviously shit but it notifies me of stuff which is all I need.

I even heard on the news unbidden that he had voted. I wonder who he voted for?

If your gut is saying C128, then start there. Have fun 🙂.

It's a bit odd, but it only needs the basic subscription. It's fair enough, I guess, gives a bit of extra value for the subscription. I can see why they wouldn't want to give access to their entire music library for free.

At the end of the article, there's this interesting fact:

King Edward VII invented his own timezone for the royal estate in Sandringham, Norfolk, in 1901 to squeeze in half-an-hour more hunting time each day

Yes, I think that's probably how it worked.

My memory of token ring is vague, but I think it was originally a ring in series as you said - however token ring switches (that isn't what they were called) also existed, which was the "modern" way of writing up a token ring network.

I suspect there should be something using the IGDB API, if not it ought to be possible to make one. I found this (I didn't try it) but it's not quite what you want: https://github.com/omoosey/video-game-calendar

In 2019, France’s best known climate expert sat down to work with its most feted graphic novelist. The result? Perhaps the most terrifying comic ever drawn.

Part history, part analysis, part vision for the future, World Without End weaves the story of humanity’s rapacious appetite for fossil fuel energy, how it has made possible the society people take for granted, and its disastrous effects on the climate.

Unfortunately not. I'd like to, but as you say it's not quite there yet. I probably should try it more frequently.

Ah, why are the black squirrels not mapped? They are slowly taking over from the greys apparently.

In the UK last month we had the highest rainfall of any month ever, with a month's worth of rain falling in about 48 hours - and it doesn't seem to have stopped since.

The river in the picture is not supposed to be there!

A half-finished paint job on a Kent road has been described as a perfect example of “not my job, mate” culture.

Gas company SGN has been carrying out works in Dover Road and New Street in Sandwich throughout the summer.

The network upgrades are now finally complete - but that is more than can be said for the repainting of a 20mph marking near the Malcolm Waite petrol station.

SGN workers have only put a fresh coat of white on the sections of the road they had to dig up, leaving glaring gaps.

A spokesman for the gas company says it is “responsible for reinstating the areas we’ve disturbed”.
