Forced induction will get your old Civic to 120mph in a jiffy. 😆

Chevy Bolt (electric) is approx. 3,600 lbs. Ford Fiesta (gas) is approx. 2,500 lbs. I think your numbers are kilograms. Sorry to be pedantic, just trying to get correct numbers. But what you're saying is basically correct. Most small EVs are still lighter than midsize and bigger ICE cars. If you want apples to apples: the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is 5,000 lbs, whereas the 2024 gas version is approx. 3,400 lbs.

This takes me back. Y'all made me recall running Trillian Pro with a cracked loader. Oh, and what about DeadAIM?! I feel ashamed (as a current FOSS fan) that I didn't switch to Pidgin until after pirating all the popular AIM alternatives.

There's no reason to trust any homebrew or cracked Windows ISO. Just go with Win 10 LTSC. All the bullshit is removed and it has support until 2027. MAS flawlessly activates it. Linux is indeed the better option, and I'll be heading that way soon enough.

I'm certain I initially saw the screen you just posted. I hit "Use a different app" and hit Camera, then later chose Always. Any idea how to alter that double tap behavior to a different camera app (that's not built into Graphene)? That's the situation I'm in now. Thanks!

I'm unable to disable that app (app.grapheneos.camera). Its greyed out. I assume I did get a prompt initially asking me to "Complete action using Camera" and I hit "Always." That was before I found and installed the Google camera (com.google.android.GoogleCamera). So I'm still stumped how to alter that double-tap "Open by default" to a different, non-built-in camera app (and I can't seem to find anything in settings). Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to know. Thanks all!

I agree that you should be able to change which app opens with double tap. But AFAICT you cannot on GrapheneOS build 2024082200. Someone please enlighten me, if you know a way.

You can still install the Google camera app alongside the GrapheneOS camera app. Double tapping power button still takes you to the built in camera (but you at least have the option of either app). https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.GoogleCamera

Crypto enables freedom, and yes, criminals are kinda into freedom. Imagine cash has never existed and try to pitch that. It would never make it past the board. You are correct that crypto may not help your average American. But its use as a safer haven are important in places like El Salvador, Nigeria, and Curacao.

https://gadgetbridge.org

Gadgetbridge is a free and open source Android application that allows you to pair and manage various gadgets such as smart watches, bands, headphones, and more without the need for the vendor application. So in short, you can use Gadgetbridge instead of relying on your gadget's own proprietary app.

Eternity is working fine for me. Try logging in again (or clear the app's data and then login).
