No but seriously he just announced that he'll be running in the general as an independent. This meme is just straight-up analogy now.

Generational labels are invented and maintained by marketing consultants so that they can sell demographic advertising services to corporations.

Some people are tech savvy at a young age. And smart. Never discount the kids.

Seems so nonsensical to me. Even if you're someone who drives every day there are perfectly serviceable used cars out there for $5000 whos remaining useful lifetimes outlast the repayment period of a new lease or loan.

Laws don't even have to change if nobody is enforcing them.

This might have been the hardest part of Mamdani's fight, but the fight is far from over. Remember that he still has to beat Adams in the general election. And word is that Cuomo is far from done, he's gathering support from millionaire / billionaire benefactors to either boost Adams or run in the general himself as another independent. Cuomo always ratfucks people, always has, be ready for something nasty. And personally I'm paranoid that the DNC will close ranks against him to endorse a challenger, similar to how they shut out Bernie against all popular support.

Keep fighting.

Edit: Cuomo just announced that he will be running in the general as an independent. Mexican standoff between The Good (Mamdani), The Bad (Adams), and The Ugly (Cuomo).

See that's the thing. Not only is this a transit-forward city doing transit-forward zoning, the pictured comments are also just inventing an imagined issue. It's actually not at all difficult to find parking in Portland. It's very easy.

Native portlanders are often a bunch of big babies when it comes to city life issues in a way that suggests they've never lived anywhere else. Parking is laughably simple to find in Portland, it's fucking easy mode compared to any other city. Only core downtown is metered (Even then only business hours, and it's only a few dollars), and there are no alternate side parking rules to speak of. Literally it's easier to park in most Portland neighborhoods than it is in many suburbs.

Also most of these infill housing complexes are built close to transit, by design.

I think it's shorthand for the raw food / paleo diets that a lot of these types are popularly associated with.
