Thanks, a bunch of folks pointed it out, and I think that's something I'll certainly heed to.

Thanks! You're probably one of the few people in the comments who actually understood what I meant to convey. Like, I KNOW I'm not trying to be a creep. I just want the other party to feel the same. And your advice was really thorough.

You're probably misunderstanding what netbird does (unless I'm the one misunderstanding things?).

Netbird subnet is equivalent to a tailscale tailnet (for all practical purposes; they even both use wireguard and hole-punching underneath). Netbird is not a reverse proxy (which I feel is what you think based on your comment).

Opening jellyfin up publicly is kind of asking for trouble if you ask me. I haven't done so myself, but seen enough on this community and elsewhere to know that it's probably not a good idea.

My old post from my old account.

Since then, I've been moving my PC (not server) from arch to nix, and discovered that I was relying on fundamentally broken DNS resolution behaviour on netbird.

Fixed that and also changed my Caddy config to use FQDNs as well.

Apart from that, added Gollum as a wiki server, and the experience has been perfectly amazing!

Still waiting to get my own mini-PC and use that, current shitbox is a desktop in my college.

Pretty sure ffmpeg lets you extract audio channels from a video and even add them. You can probably look up the commands online, I don't remember off the top of my head

You can consider using one of the invidious instances, or deploy one on your own that routes through proxies
