Larian pulled out of their contract after Hasbro fired everyone Larian worked with to make BG3.

It isn't a case of Hasbro going "hey we can trade up" This is Hasbro on damage control going "how the fuck do we follow that up"

Okay, so I agree on the first bit that goes into the "we are special" thing. See Sir PTerry's bit on Pans Narrans over the egotistical Homo Sapiens.

I would note that every cultures default state was racism and exclusion, much like the notoriously violent Chimps and the less physically violent but no less ruthless rigid social hierachies of bonobos. Europeans do not have an exclusive lock on that.

Note that eastern cultures are still extremely racist and sexist, and were for a very long time before any meaningful direct contact with Europe. Also the original concept that Sapiens exclusively killed off Neanderthalensis (as well as Denisova) is wildly incorrect.

At least for Homo Erectus, we are absolutely smarter but physically weaker than them. Yeah they apparent could build wooden structures, but for tooling they never moved beyond stone hand axes for over a million years. as others have put it: "they early on perfected the hand held stone tool and never moved beyond it."

It was really a combination of Homo Habilis and Homo Erectus that wiped out most of the other "human" species, not Homo Sapiens.

This isnt a special snowflakes issue. This part of the scientific process.

If there is an issue with it, its that news media is hopping on every paper long before they are verified.

No, crossing illegally is not an option.

Crossing illegally into Mexico is a really stupid idea, crossing illegally into Canada is potentially less dumb, but also potentially really deadly if you do it wrong, because nature doesnt take prisoners up here in the wrong seasons.

Kevin O'Leary and/or his wife should not be allowed to drive a boat.

Solid mobile game where it was entirely possible to use save editors to modify the amount of paid tokens and lootboxes you had.

Also there were fun tricks you could use to avoid base damage via strategic application of elevators.

Windows 10: how to re-enable the actual sleep function on your PC/Laptop. Not the crappy MS one that they can wake up on demand.

Control panel > Hardware and Sound > power options > system settings.
Change settings that are currently unavailable

Disable Sleep Enable Hibernate Save changes.

Optionally: change power button to Hibernate

From power options > Change when the computer Sleeps:

Put the computer to sleep: Never. Click on Change Advanced power plans Go down to and expand sleep.
Change the hibernate after setting.

But that is how the LLM systems work.

They work on statistical probability based on mentions in their data model.

One would expect that Boeing would be associated more with crashes given how bad their control has been in the last few decades.

My general idea would be to be somewhere important enough that your quality of life is closer to TNG or Earth than DS9, without being in the constant danger and risk that TNG and Earth provide.

No, don't live on Earth in Star Trek.

As the functional capital of the federation and HQ of starfleet, its like living in DC comics Metropolis. Every damned alien race capable of plotting has a secret plot on Earth. Whether its some weird parasitic bugs taking over the admiralty, the borg, the romulans, the Dominion, or the upstart of the week, the casualty/injury rate has to be pretty horrific.

Mars is theoretically ideal, but get targeted because of the massive public shipyards, so it has a time limit of being good.

Jupiter, however, has less well known shipyards and all those moons to explore. It never gets outright attacked or destroyed, even the Borg just go past it. Jupiter is the place to be.
