As a digital nomad, here is one thing I learned: you have to be very very lucky and be really really good in your field to land that kind of job. If I was to lose my job, not only would there be no way I could land the same salary elsewhere, but I’m not even sure I could land that kind of job, remote, at all. Most of what I see are people struggling and I think that should be the expectation tbh.
