The kicker is that a vast amount of these stadiums are paid for by tax payers. We're subsidizing billionaires to build these things that we still have to pay to use instead of investing in public spaces and transportation/infrastructure projects

Same, the physical camera button and 3.5mm headphone jack on the Xperia are awesome

Haven't had this particular brand, but I've made vegan musubi before with another. Turned out great and tbh I couldn't tell the difference. The only downside was the price difference.

Love retro sedans, hope some of the themes make it to market. Hyundai has been crushing it with design, IMO the Ioniqs are the best futuristic looking cars without being too out there. The N Vision 74 is a nostalgia fans dream.

Guessing it's the Ranger Lightning instead of the Maverick EV. Personally I'd prefer the compact truck with bed capacity for 4x8 ft sheet goods.

Their designs are innovative and I hope they can execute on them because I think EVs are better when they don't just try to be like traditional ICE vehicles but with electric propulsion.

I think Canoo had some concerns about viability and needed to figure out manufacturing at scale. If giant companies like GMC and Ford are having trouble with adoption, startups like Canoo are in for even tougher sledding. Personally, I'm rooting for all of them though.

I thought GM reversed course and said they would revive the Bolt brand. Though their EV strategy seems to be changing constantly these days.

Same. Think they're pretty comfortable actually. Ours has become the main family vehicle and it's great all around, no complaints.

That's refreshing to see in a world of ever increasing enshittification. Wish more companies move in this direction.

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has pledged “deforestation zero” by 2030. His current term ends in January 2027. Amazon deforestation has steeply declined since the end of far-right President Jair Bolsonaro’s rule in 2022. Under that government, forest loss reached a 15-year high.

Government regulation matters and hence why voting is important. We all benefit from preserving the Amazon and yet the right is actively trying to profit from its destruction. What good is wealth if the planet becomes inhospitable?

Physical buttons are a must-have for me. Our Bolt EUV has them and I can reach for them without taking my eyes off the road and having to click through submenus to find what I need. Also love having the audio controls as paddles so I don't have to take my hands off the wheel.

Touchscreens are a cost cutting measure, not a better user experience IMO.
