I know this is from like 4 years ago but he just brought it up again so I’ll say my peace. Booker is there to work on new scoring moves and improve his game s is the rest of them. Every nba guard knows how to pass out of a double team, he’s there to work on scoring moves

People said stuff like

“double gems happen in game so it is practice” so what? He’s obviously there to work on moves and so is everyone else who is double teaming in a practice helping? The defender isn’t getting better, the help man isn’t getting better, and Booker isn’t getting better because know he has to pass out instead of practicing whatever move he was going to work

“Kobe woulda said bring one more” and realistically Kobe probably would’ve forced a bad shot and missed like every other nba player but the one where he made it would’ve been the one that goes in the Kobe highlight reel

People just don’t like dbook because se he’s lightskin and has a kind ounchable they view him as softer than other players so it pisses them that he talks shit and that’s coming from a Knicks fan that just watched him torch my team

I know there is a mega thread right now but this isn’t related to the allegations and I want a serious basketball only discussion. He’s averaging ging 12/5/5 on below average efficiency but is a very skilled pg at only 21 years old

Despite the allegations id imagine his true value is still more than Jordan Poole. Would u be able to get him for a protected first and contract filler?

Please be serious no jokes in comments please

I think the spurs should target giddey as he makes sense as a playmaker to help wemby and Sochan and be a piece for their future

I know it sounds kinda silly but I don’t undergsgandd why tall players like Mitchell Robinson and Nic Claxton are dedicating time working on rebounds and post moves in middle school and highschool instead of just training like a guard. They would be unstoppable if they just put the wolf into doing dribble moves and shooting instead of other stuff. What are your thoughts on this?

Jordan Poole and Kyle kuzma are the personification of the lightskin hooper stereotype.

47.5/44/85 shooting splits. He’s playing inured and is still balling out for the Knicks. He gets so much disrespect when people want to hype up Brunson but he’s been really good this season

He’s only 23 years old I think he should’ve been on that 25 under 25 list but whatever

I meant to say insane

I just saw a video where nba player Theo Pinson genuinely argued Kawhi should get a statue in Toronto because he led the raptors to A ring

It reminded me of Jordan Poole saying his legacy is taken care of because of his 6th man ring on the warriors

These crazy ass ring culture takes are starting to come from the players not even Twitter guys. Winning a ring is such a luck driven thing. Who gets injured, what random role player has a big shot in the 4th. What team you happen to face in the first round and yet we treat it like it’s the only thing in the world. I’m seating to understand kd for ring chasing like he did. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if in a few years. All the allstars decided to coordinate their contracts and all take minimums on one team and win a ring together so they can all be hall of famers

Clip request: 6’10 Atlanta hawks center Clint Capela misses two wide open dunks from 1 foot away from the rim

I edited for language

For example, I think the gap between Immanuel Quickley and Jordan Poole/Tyler Herro is very close and I’d argue Quickley defense might put him over the edge. Most would never put Quick in that tier but I personally would

Another is Trae Young and Shai Gilgeous Alexander. People have no problem talking about shai like he’s a top 10 player but then rank Trae in the 20s and 30s even though we’ve seen Trae preform in the playoffs

Yeah I’m sure the pro nba players thinking “My three point percentage is below league average I shouldn’t expect the ball when I’m open cuz I’ll probably miss it 🤓”
