Their first collaboration, "In Love", was brilliant.
"At puberty I was sworn to secrecy by 'The International Brotherhood of Lying, Fickle Males'."

Part of me hopes it's shittymorphs new schtick.
Spiritual faith and faith in the scientific method are not the same.
Scientific knowledge is SUPPOSED to be challenged and changed as we gain new information. Religious faith is expected to be accepted without question and regardless of information.
Your surveyor story sounds like something a christian apologist would say, or someone who doesn't know the difference between science and religion.
Even stone age people knew the difference between East and West. If a surveyor incorrectly used a compass his work could still be verified by looking at a goddamn sunrise. If the surveyor ignored the conflicting data and, as you say "put his faith in his instruments", it ceases to be the scientific method and becomes dogmatic fanaticism.
Scene is (was) a relatively decent periodical in the Cleveland area. It's mostly an ad mill, with ~50% of their page space going to advertising, but they've also done a decent job of covering local news. And don't talk shit about Discount Drug Mart. They save you the runaround.
We're reaching a French revolution type point in American history. There are people who are the product of absurd privilege, and there is everyone else.
This is tipping the scales a little bit back out of the favor of privilege. In the grand scheme, it's effectively misguided and miniscule. But it's a sign of progress nonetheless.
Our legal system sucks ass. There's no reason why so much of our population should be imprisoned for relatively minor reason... but we're also used to money being more important than culpability. Affluenza, rapists getting off because it would be detrimental to their future to be held accountable, or generally rich people being able to pay for their crimes financially instead of punitively.
So when someone from a perceived place of privilege is actually held to the same standards as one of us serfs, it's usually celebrated. It sucks, but it's true.
This thread more of an indictment of our shitty legal system than of the defendant.
Brooklyn is right by Parma. Parma is known by locals as having a high concentration of, as you put it, "right leaning poors". We just call them racists. But they're mostly boomers who are dieing out.
That whole area of Cleveland suburbs is pretty interesting. It's a lot of diverse blue collar neighborhoods surrounded by more affluent areas. I'm honestly surprised by this story, as the youth of the area tend to be pretty progressive.
And Severance S2!
My movies? What?
I'm not upset about anything. I'm simply pointing out that the assertion that all movies today are dogshit shows you are either ignorant to all the quality movies being produced and the history of cinema in general, or your expectations are ludicrously high. In either case, you're contribution to the discussion is worthless. Or, to put it in your terms: your words are dogshit.
There have always been shitty movies. That's not to say that there have ONLY been shitty movies.
There are good movies being produced, and with the entirety of human culture at your fingertips, if all you are seeing is dogshit that's entirely your fault.
"Music today is dogshit."
Don't confuse your uninformed opinion with reality.
Speak what you type out loud. If it sounds like you should be rolling your eyes as you say it... or if it sounds exceedingly sarcastic as you say it, chances are you're going to come off as condescending intended or not. You provided a good link, don't ruin it with unintentional attitude.
Name five recent foreign films we should "try", and explain your reasoning for each.
Is there a word for weebs but instead of Asian culture they're obsessed with acting like a shitheel bolshevik? If there isn't one already, it should be your stupid name.
