T'was the tism m'lord

A quick scan will show it ofcourse. But it stops bots and stuff just hitting "known" ports. I've not had any issues in the months it's been active compared to the previous month's I just used the standard port

I do. I run it behind a caddy service so it's secured with an SSL. The port is running on a high non standard one. I do keep checking access logs but haven't had a peep apart from the 1 person I shared it with

The way she calmly says "She's gonna come right up to us" and how chill it was makes me think this moose is a common visitor

I don't know of something that actually downloads from Spotify. The audio on the YouTube music links are fine for me, so I never looked elsewhere

I use Spotdl: https://github.com/spotDL/spotify-downloader

It's a python based CLI tool. You run the command and link to song/playlist/album and it basically looks on YT for the song, downloads the audio, the artwork and metadata.

It's what I've been using since I cancelled Spotify last year and decided to own my own library again

I feel like other streaming platforms will follow the same process as they've proven it's worked.
