Instead of 10 people you'll need 1 person instead. Those 9 people will need to find a new gig.

I left lemmy.world because they were doing nonsense like this. I recommend to others doing the same.

Here is a video from 2016 where Tesla claims that "the car drives itself".

Sadly, Tesla has no such technology.

There is no independently available data on which car has the most crashes per km driven.

Stop spreading misinformation.

Tesla is the new MAGA hat.

The biggest bias is that the data comes from Tesla. Do you think they are going to release something that makes them look bad?

Tesla actively markets their cars as ''the car drives itself''.

The link worthless. It's just Tesla advertisement.

You're right, but the automobile industy is too opaque to do this kind of study. Maybe the insurance companies have this data, but they.are not sharing it.

In the absence of such data we have to make do with what we have. What we are seeing are a lot of examples where Tesla's are clearly doing irrational things and failing miserably. Youtube is not full of Mercedes cars failing miserably, eventhough there are a lot more Mercedes cars on the road.

We're living in a bizarro world where Zuck is cool thanks to Elon.

We're literally having this discussion under a video where automatic braking should have kicked in, but didn't.

It's not hard to game benchmarks.

Thanks for liftoff! I'm trying it out now and it looks great!

It looks like lemmy.world is assumed to be the default by the app. I'm on another instance, but I still get a lemmy.world option in the feed. Is it possible to get rid of it?
