I understand this on an intellectual level but simply can't bring myself to finance anything.

personal debt is a trap I've seen too many people get caught by.

These are the shareholders though.

I've been part of a few climate votes in the past few years and if any corp pulled this shit on me I'd be dumping (most of) my shares and buying up a competitor ... lets be real I'd just be increasing my stake in any competitors. This is the real government and you need to buy in for a voice.
