I really like nova, I just want customized icons with no text, which for some reason nothing else will do. search based is pointless to me, I barely have one screen of apps... nova is fine for this but I did block it from all network connections after the sale happened

starting to run into this in some hotels too. fucking stupid.
from the gameplay I've watched so far it's just been turned into a completely different game now. eternal was barely hanging on to the ethos of it, and now theres throwing blades and maces and shit? that's not doom anymore.
a server I was a part of a while ago had maybe 30 people, but with a ton of topic based channels. the 'owner' would CONSTANTLY bitch about conversations being too specific for general and reprimand people.
even in one server I'm currently in, which has ~2500 members, there's really only 50 people active on it. one of the mods still does this all the time ("tAkE iT tO #PoLiTiCs") and it inevitably only ends the conversation every time. nice "community".
I will never understand how it's the thing so many people suggest to edit audio. the UI is so obtuse and unlike every other piece of software that does the same things.
I would hope someone has made a toaster drive dock by now, missed opportunity
nova prime + netguard to keep it off the internet has kept me using it. "search focused" launchers are not how I use my phone and nothing else has all the features nova does without being able to just dump the stupid home screen search bar.
given how much is going on in the diy / open source keyboard community, I'm sure there's going to be some options
