Yeah UK has got some laws depending on how it's sold, but if its 'clear and obvious error' like a huge misprice then generally they can stop the sale.

Occasionally get an unsavvy salesperson who might not know, but doubt it for a £56k misprice!

UPDATE

So sorry to disappoint but yeah, was a misprice unfortunately!

. I phoned up the jewellers to check it was still there and if so, arrange a viewing. Asked for the info on the one in the window, and the salesman said is a 5726, just been serviced and without missing a beat, said price was £62 000.

Afraid bargain of the century will have to wait, and was missing a 2 not a 0!

This is in a UK jewellers in their pre owned section. They're an authorised Patek dealership so they'll know their stuff.

Can't work out if the price is £6,000 or £60,000 as £6k for what I assume is an automatic nautilus with day date and moon phase seems rediculously cheap, even at 2nd hand.

If it's a very good deal then may be worth a look, guessing may have some background to the Low price though : missing papers, box etc
