Yeah things can get messy. Zero trust and EDR bring in complications that wouldn't be clear to an end user.

Its best to not do anything "weird" on a work computer, but a lot of times of still won't be a real issue. It all just depends.

Dropbox had the first mover advantage. Onedrive lagged behind it for years. You can argue it still does.

If you wish to bake a universe, first you must invent the duct tape.

Most companies run split tunnel VPNs, I.E they only route work traffic over the VPN itself. All other traffic, like traffic straight out of the internet, just goes over your regular connection.

This limits the bandwidth the VPN has to handle, especially important with people streaming so much.

This isn't everywhere though. If you don't know if they use split tunnel or not, assume they don't and are logging all your traffic.

Also, IT folk generally do not give a fuck about what you're doing if it doesn't involve malware, but there may be automated systems in play that take it out of their hands.

Keiko being Keiko once again...

A sharp edged but reasonable person? A flat out "good takes" machine that doesn't know the main characters are Mary sues immune from real consequences?

Of course it is. So is any buisness that doesn't with his government like musk has. That's how facism works.

This was one of the most vicious police murders in our nations history, and the cops lied for years to cover it up.

The fact that this murderer is getting zero jail time is a travesty.

The article explains he stole the 2 ballots on purpose to throw off a certification process that Indiana's voting machines go through that's open to the public.

The machines ran through 136 test ballots, then he stole 2 and left. He leaned over and is heard on video saying "fucked up count" to a women he was coordinating with, who then raised the issue of "missing ballots" to the officials, all while live streaming to facebook.

This guy, who then shows the stolen ballots to another guy outside who laughed and patted him on the back, then joined the live stream and said "they are missing ballots! Don't trust anything!"

Cops reviewed video footage, then got a warrent. He claimed intially that he had been allowed go take them by officials. When they proved that wasent true, he claimed he took them as souvenirs, even though they were explicitly marked as official documents. Text messages that the suspect sent also make it clear he knew they were official ballots.

The wake is the problem mainly. It rocks all the docked boats violently. No wake, no problem.

Low speed does need to be maintained right next to other boats if distance can't be maintained.

This is a huge number too. Apparently the NYT leadership was crowing about gaining 4000 subscriptions over a few months recently.

If gaining 4000 is considered a lot in the industry, losing 200,000 and growing is a roaring statement of disapproval.

1 year and a day. The prosecution was going for 18 months.

Not enough, but still real time. He also hasent been able to get acting work for years, which is excellent.

Election odds? You mean the betting markets where 4 users dumped 30 million dollars on Trump coincidentally when Elon Musk started campaigning for him Pennsylvania? The odds that had her leading by 5 points that those 30 mil shifted to losing by 15?

Or are you talking about the polling, which has been an absolute shiteshow for 10 years because no one picks up their phones for random numbers anymore?
