It really depends on the time he has to be up, but I would think it's on the stricter side. Do they need to be up at 6 am after 8 hours sleep? If not, you have your answer.
I feel the other way around, even numbers are nice and even, odd numbers are just odd and jaggy. Maybe except 5, like someone mentioned before it is a honourary even numbers almost.
