Hey, I'm a game dev behind Bedroom Battlegrounds. Thanks for the nice comment! Indeed, I plan on adding more diverse "battlegrounds", with the title I wanted to reflect the child-playing aspect of the game. If there's interest in the game, I have plenty of ideas on how to expand it further!

My first game just entered Open Beta Test - turn based strategy with toy army men - Bedroom Battlegrounds

Hello all, I'm happy to announce that I've just opened beta test for my first Steam game release, which will be available between 30.05 and 02.06.

This is a turn based strategy game, where you play with toy army men trying to conquer your opponent on the other side of the room. Available in single player mode against the AI, or local multiplayer, also via Steam Remote Play.

Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2776110/Bedroom_Battlegrounds/

I'd be very happy to hear your feedback, which you can send over here, or through a dedicated feedback form. https://forms.office.com/r/nvt7vAz9kF Your feedback will play a crucial role in enhancing the game before releasing the demo for the upcoming Steam Next Fest, and subsequently full version of the game later this year.

Looking forward to hear your feedback. Happy conquering!

Still doesn't work. It must be checking the account settings and not my VPN location

Same in Poland, and this is a game about polish history... Also tried Belgium, US and Australia via VPN and still the same. I think they messed something up in the page settings. Anyone any success with some specific countries?

People kill themselves over much more mundane things than this. I think you overestimate teenagers unfortunately, not everyone can handle it as lightly as you would. Telling people to just "shake it off" will simply not work most of the time.

So you never take any vacation?

How is that "legal" though? Will it not be harassed by Google at some point to turn it down?

Reading the title my tiny brain assumed he traveled to a Saturn's moon and died there. I was confused for a second.

Not that we know of. There was also nothing mentioned on the invitation. We'll most likely just ask them as some has suggested.

Definitely we'll think of something Polish, thanks for the suggestion!

We're Polish living in Germany and were invited to a wedding in India by a friend of ours. The groom is Indian and the bride is Mexican, to make things more complicated. It's planned at the end of November. That's the first time going to India for us, we don't know much about the culture. We don't know what we should get them as a gift. What would be a good idea for a gift? What's traditionally gifted there?

There's supposed to be another wedding in Mexico next year, to which we'll also be invited, so in case you have any ideas for that wedding - feel free to chime in already!

Thanks for all the responses!

I don't know if I understand you correctly, but it's actually very possible to go back to the previous app with just one swipe. No need to return to home screen. I have iPhone 11 Pro (should work the same for any newer models too) and you just swipe at the bottom from left to right and it will switch to the previous app you had open. You can do the same gesture from right to left to go forward to the next app. You can continue the same to shift through all your recently opened apps.

Amazing, we need more competition on the market. It's never good to let big corporations run a monopoly.
