Reminds me of Google glass or whatever it was called. It's not that people aren't ready, it's just a bad idea

Stars? I never look at ratings. I read based on the writers i know, those that are recommended to me, topics that interest me, worlds that might captivate me.

They're referring to the world cup 👌👌

I'm looking for suggestions please, for a trusted online platform for therapy, with native English speakers. It does not matter if it is US oriented, I'm not in the US or American, just need to express myself in English. It doesn't even need to have an app. I started by searching online but i have no clue which platforms are legit. Thank you!

Large value bills are of very little importance to the everyday consumer, but make life easier for criminals transporting or hiding cash. A single 1000$ bill weighs ten times less than 10 x 100$ bills. Phasing out these bills or never printing them in the first place is logical

No surprise really, that was always part of the deal. Google and Meta are relatively good buyers, if you consider that our data is also being sold to dark companies we've never heard of, or are difficult to trace back to their owners, or have hazy political involvement etc... Tech companies big or small will sell our data to whomever pays - see terms and conditions or whatever.

AFAIK this has been the case since YT early days. It was never a space for discourse. Previously limited to trolls, now they have AI to argue with. If you want to discuss a YT video, your best option is to post it somewhere you personally find discourse is decent enough for that topic. My 2 cents

"Duty to God" is a principle of the Scout Movement, though it is applied differently in various countries.

I never said anything about religious people.

It's a religious entity. I spent 10 years there as a child and just drowned out the world to get past the religious bits of it. Will never encourage my kids to join. I'll give them the joy and knowledge of the great outdoors without the scouts.

Obviously AI enhanced, she needs to opt out

Amount of Google searches I've made since implementation of AI results: zero

I see many guides online which start with a new plant. This is what mine looks like and it's been here for years, so I'm not sure if i can guide it into a tree anymore. If so, i guess now that it started budding would be a good time to trim everything but the leader?

Ecosia is a search engine that aggregates search results from multiple other search engines. The ad revenue from our searches funds the planting of trees worldwide. With over 200 million trees planted so far, Ecosia have learned to be fully transparent about their projects, and financials which are available right on that website. Set it as your default search engine, and start planting trees. They also recently released a Chromium based browser if that's your thing - TechCrunch article for reference.

Now is a good time to flood Wikipedia with donations. For the first time in my life, i have just donated to them and will do so again. You can do it too for a minimum of €2, no requirement for recurring donations or any nonsense.
