bro i hate this type of shit, when you are a kid you are not doing school work all of the time, and when you are an adult you are not working all of the time - yes you will always have responsibilities but that is a part of your life

that kinda depends on your personal experience - for example ive been running arch for 2 years, i do weekly updates and ive never encountered a single issue

the only thing void has over arch is more architecture support (which is kinda ironic)

i didnt say "we need kernel anticheat on linux" i said we need a solution for it

its a paradox and the manufacturers arent gonna be the ones to break it - why would they go out of their way to do linux preinstalls? they would gain literally nothing out of it (in fact they might lose money if they have a contract with ms)

i dont think we'll have any large amount of preinstalls until the anticheat problem is solved

also you are just simply lying to yourself if you think desktop linux experience is fulfilling - i force my entire family to use linux and trust me the experience is not even close to being fulfilling for everyone

Ultimately, arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say.

idk what happened but the laptop definitely seems less flatter than most of the jokes in this thread

this report shows that drew clearly did not care about the unethical takes of stallman when he created the stallman report, the report was an attack on the FSF and the free software community in general and people were unable to recognize this when the report was first published

so this report (hopefully) will help people recognize the situation now, thats why i shared it in the first place
