This is the fallout from the technology industry shrinking and coming to terms with itself. See the crash of the Silicon Bank recently as an example. Basically as the positive outlook toward these kind of businesses and pursuits continues to mellow out we'll see these companies look inward to squeeze as much money out of their products as possible.

Sweet, like 30 years to late and for a dying industry.

Super cool and great find. I always wanted one of these

Effectively just two different methods to access the Fediverse. They each have different thought processes on how to do that, and both are at different stages in their development with kbin being the newest of the two.

I'm watching kbin's development as I really like its intended ability to interface directly with say Mastodon, but as its stands it's not quite their yet imo.

Alright you convinced me and I made an account. I love that it more effectively interfaces with the rest of the fediverse. Is there a better search function though? I'd love to follow some official Mastodon users like Reuters or Ars Technica but the main search doesn't let me filter for specifics.

You may have just convinced me to try it out. A few questions though: Does it have any limitations when accessing content on other Fediverse clients? Like anything goofy when looking at lemmy content for instance? Second is there an Android app available you could recommend? Third, what instances are cool to start with?

Great work on the updates!

I do have a feeling that the "x users / month" stat with each instance on the instance list under sells activity on instances. Might I suggest displaying total users as well? Perhaps even posts and comments to further illustrate overall usage to a perspective user.
