Fandom engages in a lot of anti-user and anti-creator practices. There are mirrors to it that privacy and content respecting, particularly Antifandom and BreezeWiki. If you are interested in making the switch, there are plugins that will automatically redirect you away from Fandom towards one of these mirrors.

Got an update on a privacy policy that stated they were doing batch arbitration now. Sounds like it's trying to thwart the idea that if a bunch of users agree to go to arbitration you can drain a company's bank accounts.

(h) Batch Arbitration. To increase the efficiency of administration and resolution of arbitrations, you and ElevenLabs agree that in the event that there are 100 or more individual Requests of a substantially similar nature filed against ElevenLabs by or with the assistance of the same law firm, group of law firms, or organizations, within a 30 day period (or as soon as possible thereafter), JAMS shall: (i) administer the arbitration demands in batches of 100 Requests per batch (plus, to the extent there are less than 100 Requests left over after the batching described above, a final batch consisting of the remaining Requests); (ii) appoint one arbitrator for each batch; and (iii) provide for the resolution of each batch as a single consolidated arbitration with one set of filing and administrative fees due per side per batch, one procedural calendar, one hearing (if any) in a place to be determined by the arbitrator, and one final award (“Batch Arbitration”).

A powerful statement in therapy that still hits me when I think about it. "You don't stop being someone's child." (I'll leave it without context, the context would be too painful and personal, so read that however you want.)

Had a tamer but similar hill near my home growing up. Loved speeding down. It ended in a lot filled with gravel. Fortunately the day I spun out on the gravel lot was coming from a different, slower direction. Developed an extremely bad case of road rash all over one leg. When I realized what might have happened if I'd been taking the hill instead, that I probably would have broken my legs or worse, I stopped going down that hill. Realization of mortality can be like a bucket of ice water sometimes.

I got all the way to the last level once... but never beat it. The lava level man.

Omelettes. So versatile. So good. Of all the combos I love bacon and mushrooms in my american cheese omelettes best of all.

Pancakes are a close second.

I'm with you on the confusion because it's like... I don't feel the need to act this way, why do other people? What drives them that, in a void, they resort to these thoughts and behaviors? Is this who they really are, or is it an act, like doing an evil playthrough in a game. "I want to because I can here, and I can't anywhere else?"

First one is a screencap from Overly Sarcastic Productions. I sadly don't remember where the second one came from.

Is anyone else completely unable to register on chexsystems? Usually when this happens I can't tell if it's because of my privacy settings or a legitimate fuckup on the server's end.

I've been complimented on my voice before, and those aren't weird compliments. But delivery is important. I had a coworker tell me, "Your voice is great!" And of course I'm thankful. But then deadpan, she goes, "You should do ASMR so I can listen to it."

Now that was a weird compliment.
