Say what you you want about Stan Van Gundy. At least his teams were competitive and fun to watch.

I'll take Jackson, KCP, Drummond, Harris and Morris over this. Even at their current ages.

The Curse of SVG? The Detroit Pistons haven't had a top 20 offense since firing Stan Van Gundy in 2018. And the Orlando Magic haven't had a top 20 offense since firing him in 2012. in c/nba@nba.space

And it wasn't even his first attempt. Iverson would have been a Piston in 2000 if Matt Geiger hadn't vetoed the deal.
