Hi guys, just a PSA - watchout if your precious Framework is shipping through FedEx.

Once mine shipped from Taiwan I requested they hold it at a shipcenter for me to pick up instead of dropping it off at my front door.

They ignored it and delivered it to my address. I was out of town for a day, so I was nervous the whole day just hoping it wouldn't get stolen.

Luckily it was still there when I got home. Also it took 7 days to ship, as it got held up at customs.

So easy, it's almost disappointing in c/framework@hardware.watch

It took me like 20 minutes, because I was looking closely at every packaging and enjoying the process of putting it together.

But yeah, it was quick and easy and installing windows, drivers and updating bios was flawless. I was expecting it to be more difficult and problematic.

Also I adore the tiny thoughtful details like the little loop on the keyboard ribbon cable to put your finger through.

Anyone working on a mainboard case for the FW16? in c/framework@hardware.watch

Patience young grasshopper. FW16 won't be released for another couple of weeks. I doubt anyone outside of Framework has the motherboard dimensions in order to design a case.

I'm on day 7 as well, but it looks like it should be delivered today.

Yeah, mine is now at customs in Winnipeg as well. How has yours been there?
