I think op is right. A new law that says you have to own real estate to vote would have been unconstitutional before and is not now.

The two parties are not going to figure this out. I think we are in the middle of one of those major shifts in the landscape. Probably still end up with only two, and one of them might keep its name, but it seems to me this country's leadership has simply outlived its ability to sense the world around it. They've patched over all sensory organs with some kind of insider-curated feed.

I like your idea, but it just brings to mind how fragile all of our digital media is, not to mention the surrounding tech necessary to read and understand it. What we know works is to press your message to the future, grocery bill, whatever, into clay and then accidentally burn the city down around it -- good for millennia.

I wonder if it would take more or less time with auto-complete.

Maybe just an awkward sales agent, or they thought you were mad at them for in their mind trying to help. I decline phone number and zip code all the time. Also been using someone else's phone number at grocery stores for years -- started by mistake. I don't care about accumulated points or whatever but discounts at grocery store are pretty significant for me.

But I understand your frustration in general. Keep up the good fight :)

Not sure this is what you're talking about: Hitchens debates himself

I've used this giorgio regni app on Android for years with various random earbuds.

The only option on its menu that reliably does anything for me is called "morphine pain killer", but it was a game changer for me for incapacitating sea sickness (believe me I had tried so many things I don't think I had any placebo potential left). On land, I've found it effective for post surgery pain, nerve pain, and even the odd depressive crying jag. I guess at this point I'm a believer so I'd be curious to know what effect it has on a "fresh" patient. I don't think I've tried it just for kicks, though, so not sure what you'll notice if you're already feeling ok.

Not much has changed, yet. Twenty years from now they might need to change the team logo. For me the whole dicks and pussies spiel is still resonating.

Used to be considered simply prudent to back up the vhs tapes you bought and people were encouraged to tape their favorite shows off the tv. Now some random CEO of the month has the right to bury decades worth of creative works?

DrawExpress is very intuitive to use on a phone, but the files may not be editable in other software. It exports as SVG, PNG, or pdf.

Maybe this is normal, but I just learned last week that in Washington, if a candidate has lost the open primary they cannot be a write in candidate.

I saw a local one advertised on nextdoor and I went to the site because there are rules for advertisers on that app and I wanted to complain. It is exactly as I'd heard-- telling people there's no reason to be seen quickly and will not be given appointment within two weeks, calling themselves a clinic but no statement of any medical service. But they said so little about what they actually do that I couldn't find any good grounds for complaint to the app as also the app's own content categories, "health" or something, was too vague to be considered misleading. I complained anyway that they were promoting pseudo medicine and political activity, but didn't get a reply.
