I can feel it in the air. This is going to take off just like how wine and proton took off. We are going to go through another "Linux gaming" rush all over again and this shit is going to be fun. Let's go!!!

Right. But what can you do if your job has absolutely no interest in Linux? Force them? I've talked to some leads and managers and they laughed at the idea of using Linux. They just don't need it for whatever they do. And 100% of our backend is SQL and C#. And you know how much they drool over visual studio and all those MS products.
People who are Republicans in 2024 know full well what they are and are aware they're in a cult. I just can't see it any other way. You can't consider yourself a decent human being, see everything the Republicans do/believe in, and say to yourself "yes, this party represents me 100%. I want to make good change in my country".
Understandable. Make do with what's available, friend.
Software dev here. The only Linux I ever hear of at my job is Open shift. That's about it. We are neck deep into windows. And honestly, I don't care. It's a job and my bills are paid. My house is full of Linux, and I don't care what a big corporation wants to use for their software.
don't understand why it has to be all or nothing
I mean, you're talking about government. When do they ever think?
It has indeed been fixed, and I love it. Thank you
He said the Legislature could use earnings from the state’s $11 billion oil tax savings as well as millions of dollars he said go to “corporate welfare” for private corporations and special interest groups. The state also has better-than-forecasted revenues coming in, he said.
Becker has an argument here that I can't argue with.
That'd be great then. Will be checking soon. Thank you
This is great. This gives me hope for Linux mobile 🙏🏽
FreeTube doesn't always have 4k. I don't remember which format, but a video has to be a certain format to show as 4k. Majority of videos that are shot in 4k show as only 1080p on FreeTube. I welcome new pipe to linux and will actually be using it
I have an almost carbon copy of your hardware and I run endeavour OS dualbooting with a mini win11. Been doing it for about 3 years now. For software, I just install bauh and call it a day. This app has every thing from flatpaks to app images to the AUR (except snaps) and you go from there. I've been very happy with my set up. I have 4 separate drives in my machine so I have each OS on its own drive since windows loves to mess with grub every time it updates. Having them on separate drives makes it easier to recover if anything goes wrong.
EDIT: forgot to mention that I, too, play games and code on this machine. No issues whatsoever. I have KDE plasma on Wayland
