I love how people keep claiming this whilst in reality most of the time, most of the hardware is so supported out of the box that you literally forget that something like a driver is even needed. Linux supports a metric frack tonne of hardware right out of the box, contrary to windows.
That goes without saying that installing most distros of Linux takes a good 20 minutes where as my last windows 11 install tool 7 hours split over various days (ok the exact same computer) to figure out all the issues and get it to work properly

Winning a lawsuit in the US against any company is a useless victory, because they'll just promise whatever and then give you the finger and laugh while shouting "why don't you sue us to get it!?"

No, but should be able to take a bus. Even so, let him use a car I don't mind, that's what they're for. Long distance transit, heavy hauling. The problem is with 95+% of the trips that are 4 miles and under where people drive their enormous pick-up trucks all empty. You can do those by bike.

Just an example of what happens when you start reworked more and more car cities into people cities. You can still get there by car, it's just that public transport and bike and walking is easier so why wouldn't you
I've been saying pretty much the same thing about Biden. It's almost "yeah, whatever, he's not trump" but you can add to that that part of his decisions may lie in the fact that Biden (and Harris too, btw) didn't wanted to alienate the voters that have a close stance with Israel. If he loses those votes, he might lose, Trump wins, Palestinians are effed beyond. Politics sucks that way, but us politics with the "winner takes all" makes it so much worse
If from now on all child porn would be created artificially instead of by abusing children, wouldn't that maybe be a good thing?
Not trying to defend anything here, but where there is a want in the world, there is a market, you can't stop that. If artificial material makes it that even one less child is abused, I think it's worth having a discussion at least
