You really need to put away the idea of having to min/max everything, especially in a single player game. Just make the choices as they come and if they aren't perfectly optimal, who cares. Games are meant to be fun so if you are having fun then mission accomplished. If you still can't shake the FOMO then yeah maybe the more complex games aren't for you and that is okay too.

Sometimes donating to the causes you care about does more good than working in the industry itself. A friend of mine who is really into dancing came to that conclusion.
I have an order in that I placed last August. I'm hoping to get it by the end of the year, but who knows, they are really slow at manufacturing the devices.
I've been using a Samsung black and white laser printer for quite a few years now and I've been happy with it. I put in a third party toner cartridge two or three years ago and it's still going strong.
