Well I'm glad we're bringing up different sports when talking about the NBA. It's like an NBA player being accused of domestic violence and someone saying "bro this exact situation happened to ____ in the NFL and ____ got a slap on the wrist. This NBA player will be fine".

I very much hope Giddey's career is over, but the NBA has a very sus recent reputation when it comes to their treatment of players confirmed to fuck kids.

I get that that's a strong word to use but unless this was bullshit, I stand by it being irrefutable.

The paper also examined court documents detailing the evidence that was to have been presented had Malone responded and a trial ensued. One item listed was a laboratory blood test that concluded with over 99% certainty that Bell's father was either Malone or a brother of Malone.

Bell's mother was 13 at the time she gave birth. So I mean, there's I guess a less than 1% chance that Malone isn't actually a pedophile. But his unwillingness to submit to the DNA test coupled with there being an already over 99% chance anyway, is pretty irrefutable to me.

I'd agree if not for Malone being a judge at the most recent dunk contest. So I'm not saying this because "haha the NBA once had a pedo like 20 years ago", I'm saying it because they've shown that they are more than happy to still give him the spotlight rather than distancing themselves from him. He's not an active player that they had to make a difficult decision on. It literally would have cost them nothing to have someone else as a judge.

Will save everyone future clicks (I'm sure this has been said before but there's 3,700+ comments lol):

If it's true, nothing will happen to him. The NBA is a very pedo friendly league even when there's irrefutable proof a dude is a pedo. Much less this situation where she can be like "haha I was just kidding haha" and the NBA will happily eat it up, if not straight up be like "no it's okay you can admit it, we love people like Josh and Karl Malone".
