Who cares if it is or isn't a foul. Refs mess up calls all the time, and in the most severe case it was a very light foul.

What is crazy is that the ref legit looks at the basket, waits for the ball not to go in, then immediately calls a foul. Which is obviously not how it is supposed to be done.
