Yes, date as first column would even be more logical. But I personally look first for my flag and then for the date

I would rather vote for switching the rows Venue and When. Do the date in second row because the table is orderes by it. And the venue in last row because its least relevant

The calender the bottom now shows the Location in 2nd column.

I read it on mobile and it was harder to read then before. Most likely because using the de-language where "Veranstaltungsort" ist much longer then english "venue"

Its gone from F-Droid Store..

It looks like F-Droid does not have any apps matching your search string "Blockinger"

To be fair.. If this guy would have hired a dev team, the same thing could happen.

Not only internet. Soon everybody will use AI for everything. Lawyers will use AI in court on both sides. AI will fight against AI.

I asked ChatGPT and there seems to be two options to view OSM extracts:

  1. QGIS can open .osm and .pbf

  2. JOSM can open .osm

I did not verify or test this by myself. Maybe some people have more experience?

IronFox

There is no result for "IronFox" on f-droid.org: https://search.f-droid.org/?q=IronFox

We are thrilled to announce that the OpenStreetMap Foundation has been selected by the Sovereign Tech Agency for a service agreement in the amount of 384,000 EUR over two years to ensure the stability, growth and modernization of OpenStreetMap’s core software.

Sometimes a bit too random. The start positions heavily influence the winning probability

New OSM based Map Website.

We use open data from OSM.org , a platform with over a million volunteers world wide, updating the map, roads, locations etc in their area. This includes any shops.

Hopefully it keeps alive and does not die (like similar Qwant Maps)

Blitzer.de Pro App is the bestseller App in German Play Store. The Update now features OpenStreetMap Slippy Map to show crowdsourced speed cameras, constructions, road closures and traffic jams. The App even has an OpenStreetMap based Navigation System.

1 Million people in Germany can now see and use OpenStreetMap Data in their App. This is a huge success and a breakthrough for OpenStreetMap adaption.

Unfortunately the app does not mention the Copyright yet. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I stumpled upon an unmaintained list of used shop=* tags for Germany. Link: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Germany/Shops

Since there is https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org there is no need to have this page anymore, which is not updated since several years.

Anybody knows how to delete a page?

In Desktop Mode there are plenty of free and open source games available, which can be manually added to Steam Launcher.

Hi all,

the firefox clone Fennec from F-Droid uses way to much storage.

I was not able to clean it. I am also very afraid of loosing history and stored passwords.

Anybody knows how to savely reduce this? The big storage must be caused by cached Images and or Videos, right?

Edit: Change title to 1.19.0 since 1.19.1 is not yet suggested

This can save you some time when opening the OSM Website.

Also links to coordinates or objects can be shortened like https://osm.org/relation/62422

Unfortunately Mozilla-based browsers do not save the osm.org in history.
