Division rivals used to play each other once in the beginning of the season and once at the end. Now you can have the Eagles playing the Giants twice in 3 weeks!!! in c/nfl@nfl.community

This has been happening for years. I know it was happening in the early 2010's so I'm going to assume it's happened like that pretty often throughout history.
