My concern is, those are microphones that listen if you criticize Our Great Leader.

Let me know how that goes!

(I use the 21H2 Enterprise IoT version, for personal use, i can't share openly how i obtained it, that is AFAIK the only version that goes up to 2032)

Here are the versions of W10 and their extended support dates. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-health/release-information

(Since you said you are a enterprise user, I am not sure what is the license eligibility for IoT exactly, but for non-IoT, you can go up to 2029 with version 1809)

the act of changing clocks twice a year is profoundly fucked up to people’s circadian rhythms .

as well as the government deciding for you, what time it is, is kind of orwellian when i think about it.

i want my body to adapt naturally to the sync of the sun, i think we all could use a little bit more nature.

step 1. rewrite into spaghetti code

step 2. nobody understands the new code, so the govt has to contract elon musk for code maintenance forever

step 3. profit

In over 2 decades of internet, i can safely say banning users for upvoting things is the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen a discussion board do. Just remove upvotes at this point and have the feed curated by Lord Muskrat.

Unlike others, i didn't get banned from Reddit, i just wanted to get a head-start learning this site, because Reddit is on the way to become X2.

I put Linux on my mom's laptop which is nearing two decades old at this point. It was the pragmatic choice even though I personally use Windows.

Windows security updates only last a few years. Would be annoying to keep reinstalling and re explaining the changed UI every few years.
