That would be ironic considering European car brands are built with planned obsolescence in mind. Also I dunno why is it China's duty to deal with waste from a foreign country. With that logic, all scrapped VW, BMW and Mercedes around the world are to be the responsibility of Germany? You need to check your privilege.

Considering even Tesla's cars in China is of higher quality then the same model build in the US. I am inclined to doubt the quality of electric vehicles not built in China.
