We're seeing a bunch of promises made when LLM were the novel hot shit. Now that we've plateaued on how useful they are to the average consumer every AI product is just a beta test that will drop support as soon as something newer and shinier comes along.

it sucks that is a common revision in most cities I've been in. Let's just have a highway with 8 lanes and have a tiny turn lane in the middle into a major road without lights at the turn it'll be great. Not to mention it splitting the city in half and pedestrians who don't want to walk a mile to the next crossing cross this 8 lane highway splitting the city in half.

It would be a bad look and there were anologue standards at play then. Digital releases and the capacity of storage mediums really pushed releasing unfinished games over the edge.

It always stops at the death of the rich. The money they have doesn't magically go into the public coffers to be distributed for the benefit of those who need it. It's all just grievance and schadenfreude rather than a way to change up the structure of power.
