For a second I thought palworld was getting cancelled. They really need to make less suspicious titles for these posts.

Outside of benchmarks it's really not as big of a deal as openAI wants you to think it is. In most cases it's slightly better than Claude, except it uses 50x the tokens repeating info to itself and is way slower. There are a lot of people that tried o1 online and are posting screenshots of it making basic mistakes or gaslighting itself in its chain of thought. Not to mention you only get 30 messages PER WEEK since it's such a waste of energy.
It's a desperate attempt by openAI to stay relevant now that competitors and even free models are catching up.
I guess this means it won't work on older cards. I wonder if this will work on Nvidia cards too or if it'll be AMD-only tech.
Well yeah, the line has to be drawn somewhere, but it's still super high budget compared to any animated series out there. They spent roughly 10 million dollars per episode! High budget anime would usually spend something like 1 million dollars per season. One punch man season 1 reportedly spent $80k per episode. The difference is massive.
Arcane by far. Gorgeous art style, great colors and composition, great fights. It's going to be hard to beat it considering how huge the budget was.
AFAIK web scraping (the act of grabbing and downloading any data you see available on the internet) isn't illegal, and I would assume downloading PDFs provided to you online would fall under that. Since it is copyrighted it would probably be illegal to share it, though.
It would have been good if they didn't lie so much about what you can do with it and fail spectacularly
as well as adding a lot of extra work for modders to keep things up to date.
This is my big takeaway too... More frequent updates means more version mismatches and more trouble to modders and server hosters to have to constantly update. Not sure what's the goal here because I don't think people are clamoring for tiny updates.
Definitely not a bad thing, I'd love more competition in the mid-range because so far AMD GPUs recently have basically been slightly worse than Nvidia at slightly lower prices. I still think GPUs like the 4060 are way too expensive, so if AMD actually undercuts them it could be nice for everyone.
Definitely a lot of oddballs here. Why is Grow Home on the list when Grow Up, the sequel, is literally the same game but so much better?
Also pokemon go being in a top 100 list. Hilarious.
And am I reading this right, there isn't a single Bioshock game here? Kinda expected more from Eurogamer.
That's one way to admit they couldn't catch up to Nvidia.
Speaking of Forza Horizon, they're really cheap on Steam currently. FH4 is only 4 dollars.
