I could never stand Joe Theisman. Changed the pronunciation of his name to rhyme with Heisman and then he didn’t win it.
I call him Buck Joe. My dad hated his dad and called him Buck Jack. He was the announcer for the St Louis Football Cardinals. Cowboys had a player named Pettis Norman that Buck always called Norman Pettis. Then he had that cringy “Looky there” call. Aikman is a monotone moron. , HE ran a curl route. , HE should have caught that. I was taught not to do that in elementary school and it drives me crazy. Equivalent to “We was going.”
