@DarkCloud If I wanted to be charitable, I'd acknowledge that there haven't really been progressive Republicans pretty much since Reagan, so younger conservatives haven't been exposed to them.

@PhilipTheBucket They get such a shallow understanding of things, and then get all butt hurt when other people provide a much more logical interpretation based on the specifically stated intents of the original show creators.

@GlassHalfHopeful I've enjoyed Prodigy and Lower Decks, but I've varied between indifference and anger at Discovery and Picard.

@cybervseas @TheAlbatross LD might be harder for new people because there are so many call backs to other series and storylines. This stuff delights us trekkies but might be as great for new folks. @allstartrek #allStarTrek
