market pricing is simply a tool that can be misused haha. it has never been exclusive to capitalism and of itself has nothing to do with greed.

i understand that you have good intentions but please learn how to have fun before attacking people on the internet.

now that it’s over, and i know it’s different bc it’s not a starvation wage mega corp, but remember when a bar in michigan did exactly this? i remember reddit being so enamored with this

there’s no way to QA public response

there are literally dozens of ways marketers have come up with to do exactly what you are claiming is impossible 🙃

no? alphabet lost $90bil in value over this, why on earth would an entity choose to make a design decision that breaks investor confidence?

the initial choice to make the AI “diverse,” sure, that’s intentional. but the method by which it was done had unintentional consequences, and that is the problem which QA would have fixed.

if you find QA people do to QA and pay them to do QA this won’t happen.

but that’s not cost saving, is it?

yes it’s a test of morality and ethics, but claiming it’s “simple” reaches a bit far. there is a whole host of complex misinformation and well-funded propoganda one must evade before coming to this true conclusion.

i agree with your rhetorical goals, i am just certain their are better ways of identifying decent people haha

yes, the earth-sun barycenter is still well within the sun.

not sure why other commenters felt the need to give snark lol

you and every person who upvoted you did not read the article lol

it’s kind of a common trope in history that pieces of shit can still represent the idea of a broader good.

ghandi was also pretty much scum irl too. (this comment defends neither of them and implies no further similarities than that they are shitty and represented an oppositional movement.)

[–] spujb@lemmy.cafe 1 points 8 months ago

so is this the first time you have encountered a simile or did you want me to spell it out for you 😂😂
