If anything I would expect vpn exit points to be located in higher density areas where presumably internet connectivity is cheaper, and higher density areas tend to be more liberal

Georgia the county or Georgia the country?

That’s like saying if you support gay rights protestors, you have to also support nazi protestors, or you’re being hypocritical. You’re looking at things on the wrong axis.

The streamers on twitch control how many ads you see. If it’s a huge amount, they opted into that. They get a small cut of the ad revenue

The big artists don’t fight this because they make more money under the status quo, and Ticketmaster takes all the heat and they can play victim while raking in the cash.

I hate the YouTube clickbait style thumbnails, I’m not watching the video out of principle

One of the main methods of video delivery is actually by sending a series of 2 second video clips over http. So it would not really take much processing power to insert ads in the middle, it’s not like they are having to encode video or anything.

Merge into the gap, then slow down slightly to extend the space in front of you, and let the guy behind you slow down to extend the space in front of him. It’s not complicated

I was taught it was the responsibility of the car getting on the highway to match the speed of the cars on the highway. If you’re already on the highway, keep a constant speed so the people getting on can match you. So he kept having to slow down because you were also slowing down. Just like the assassin pretending to be nice in the diagram, I think you were technically in the wrong here.

220TB in 10 years on a 250GB disk means you are doing the equivalent of rewriting the entire disk every 4 days or so for 10 years

Dreamquest was the original roguelike deck builder, and it had a lot of depth that you wouldn’t expect from its shitty art, I think it’s still worth playing. One of those games that seems extremely difficult until you learn the strategy, it is amazingly well balanced, small mistakes are the difference between win and loss

SpellRogue was fun for a bit but not sure it has staying power the way StS does.
