I've only used plastic so far. A friend was moving and she gave me her wooden cutting board. I cut something with it, and some grease got on the cutting board. Now I can't remove the yellow spot no matter what I do. What can I do to clean it?

As fuzzy as human race categorization is, which of the following 3 systems are valid for population specific boxes? (lemmy.ca)
 

Clades, clines, clusters. Is only one system valid? Two? All three? None at all?

I've heard and seen scientists debate this since around the early 2000s with conflicting answers so I'm really curious to hear what's the most appropriate take on this topic.

And let me disclaim that obviously human populations are fuzzy categories to begin with.

I would like DC to make a revamped version of the Justice League, but this time as a prequel to Young Justice using the adult justice league characters. (Batman, superman, wonder woman etc).

Marvel wise, an animated young avengers show with Spiderman and some others would be cool.

Need help figuring out if there is a process for starting a flower garden (lemmy.ca)
 

Hi all,

I'm thinking of saving up some money eventually to get a permit for a city park somewhere for me to plant a small flower garden in honor of somebody. I won't leave a plaque with any name of the specific person tho, it will be an anonymous public garden.

If anybody knows if there is a process for this, please let me know.
