Pi hole is definitely great but I'll concede that getting that going probably qualifies as 'going out of the way'. That said, it is worth every penny/second spent configuring.

I get that, but someone commiting fraud could pretend to be a living person too. I'd rather have the potential for someone to do something illegal that they're able to do regardless of purging voters than a system where real, living, eligible voters are disenfranchised.
Why the fuck is any person ever having their voter registration rescinded? It's simply undemocratic.

What is avoidable is a subscription to their retail store, with its own very severe workplace issues.
And while it may be difficult or unrealistic to not be a cog in their web presence, people can still avoid being a direct consumer of that as well.
Assuming this guy is American, not only is he not able to afford to retire in his 50s or early 60s, the cancer treatment will probably have him with debt the rest of his life.
