AVs on windows also do impact disk latency a lot.

When I have the time I play with https://oort.rs (not my project, as a player).

Otherwise I am just playing around with Rust reimplementing a card game we play with friends. Mainly for fun and potential analysis of best plays (and maybe, one day to try out wasm).

Obsidian is my go to for D&D.

They still sprinkle a bit of their own stuff into the markdown but it's generally usable outside.

Solution in search of a problem

In this case, it can be considered as a solution to actual problem - trackers/indexers going down, or actually a deeper problem of BitTorrent, where you need the centralized trackers/indexers to find the torrent of the content you are looking for (you can't just open qbittorrent and search for Arch Linux ISO).
But the execution of this solution is definitely up for debate.

Was asking the same question when reading about the Odyssey and lbry inc stuff.

In short it seems like decentralized indexer, so Peertube should be able to use it for searching content (I did not verify this).

Longer answer is that classic indexers join content metadata (file name, ...) with the BitTorrent hash, this does the same thing but instead of being a single website this metadata+bt hash is stored in the distributed blockchain (so no singular entity hold this information, censor resistance etc).
The data is still distributed thru BitTorrent so it has all the stuff of that protocol like files going dark when noone is seeding.
E: also uploaders of the content can also set a price for getting the files but I have no idea how they handle people just sharing the torrents (hashses) outside or w/e

My answer is that it's glorified DHT with metadata search.

I found this when searching for some more technical stuff - https://spec.lbry.com/.

It's a systemd timer included within Arch that runs fstrim every week.

When we have the time it's Funkenschlag (Power Grid)
Otherwise it was mostly Bang! or Scout

The quick response is you can't, you are running an executable someone else had to modify.

The long answer is trust, find a bigger warez group like fitgirl, codex etc. Though I am afraid not many of them focus on software other then games. If these groups malw'd their cracks it would destroy their reputation.

For searching, obviously older, dedicated private trackers are often better and in a way safer, though I don't know any specific to programs, like Ableton or others.

One-time use vapes should have been banned a year ago, that shit is pumped with nicotine and the amount of waste is crazy.

Rant time:

A few years ago I could buy litres of the vaping base and nicotine.
EU came in, said we must protect the children and forced that nicotine bases must have maximum concentration of 20mg/ml and can't be sold in a bigger volume then 10ml. The safety caps are cool, the forced maximum concentration and artificial max volume is not because it creates shitton of instant plastic vape.

Now, if you want to save both time and money by making a bigger "tank" of it, you will find out sellers basically giving you ~30 of these 10ml nicotine bottles in a pack (called boosters).
You empty them yourself into a big one (with some amount of raw base to dilute for given concentration) and now there is 30 plastic bottles ready for trash, yay.

Note: I stand behind vaping as just a bit safer, less smelly way of nicotine use.
If you smoke, try vaping, otherwise don't, you don't need it.

Maybe something with the hwid activation?

Slight off-topic but do people not know about Tixati ? It's a torrent client but it has searchable DHT (by torrent name) and full decentralised forums (with audio streaming, for whatever reason lol) for a long time now.
Except for being closed source it's pretty interesting. A bit baffled there isn't more talk about it, or at least about the features.
