I guess you are not renting that setup from someone, right? (colo?) I am asking because I have been renting a dedicated server from Hetzner for a few years now (one AX line, other from auction - got a good disc space with it) and with the price hike it's getting a bit costly (and can't self-host).
taaz
They take away dislike button, something I consider essential to navigate content, the algorithm is like a hyperactive drug dealer always ready to sell you the next big hit thing "you might ~~like~~ watch" and according to google itself the last YT revenue was 29.24 billion USD - so, it's not like they are going to sink without it isn't it.
So, yeah no thank you. They are doing extremely well, this is just squeezing every penny they can out of normal people so that the line goes up.
If they also stopped selling all my online data as a part of that subscription then I might consider it but it's hard to trust companies these days.

Multi-monitor support with mixed refresh rates!
I have asked about this some time back here on lemmy - X11 can do this too for some time now.
As a (semi) power user I also use btrfs subvolumes to create "partitions" (single disk system, @root, @home, @docker), allows for making snapshots only for system or user data, etc.
All around, I love btrfs and I am never going back to journaling fs like ext4
Could work but would need frequent updates, as new instances are created (or rise in popularity).
Unless lemmy (or whole fediverse) adopts it's own URI, for example https+fediverse://lemmy.world/...
, then I don't see this happening.
Look into /etc/crypttab file, it should have the path to the key afaik
Thank you everyone, was rather sure that variable refresh rates of different monitors were a hard problem for X11.
So, in nvidia-settings I made my 120Hz one the primary and set the refresh rate from auto to the highest for both monitors (120, 60)
The only difference I noticed was that easyeffects window is now completely unreadable, somehow the text and frames bleeds out/blurs and only gets sharp when hovered with mouse but still buggy. Force-compositon-pipeline did not help there.
Will have to diagnose tomorrow.
Yeah pretty sure, nvtop, nvidia-settings etc

I love my AwesomeWM setup. Unless someone completely rewrites it, it will never work with Wayland (as far as I have read the gh issues).

I need this PC to "just work" and I have seen a lot of problems with Wayland and Nvidia drivers, top-quality gaming is a secondary on this one so X11 has been the choice.
Though I am aware stuff is getting better, should probably try it anyway
Wouldn't mind one myself:)
