Of course, what a sleazy concept too. That is definitely unfortunate, if that's the case. Thanks for the explanation.

Grounds for serious litigation right there

Ha, I like that last line '...looking forward to seeing you rage quit'

It seems like they're doing it justice, and it looks like it will have a proper meaty feel to it

Who could say no to that dragon, just look how happy he is!

Thank you. Sure, I will list a few more:

-in general, try to be polite

-make an effort to be an active participant in the communities you are a part of

-donate to the developers if you have the means to do so

Try to be insightful, supportive, and ask questions that lead to discussion

Oh no, poor lightening bug! Lol

Was there anything in particular you wanted to discuss?

I'd like to commend your attempt here, and not sound discouraging or anything like that. Personally though, I like the other design a little bit better. Like another commenter suggested, this design seems to evoke security more than privacy. The shield and lock seem to be pretty commonly associated with those other meanings already. The dove being inside the lock definitely seems to overcomplicate things a bit too.

That being said, I do think your coloration and black undertones look better though and overall there's a bit more visual interest.

The simpler hand design in this one is definitely better. I did have one thought that I wanted to pose, however. Would the fingers being together instead of apart make much of a difference? I can almost see this design being symbolic of a 'high five' instead of a 'halt!'

Thanks for posting this.

In the window that pops up when replying to someone, the viewport that shows the original comment is obscured if it exceeds the size of the container that it's in. There is a sort of fade away effect towards the bottom, which is fine, but the problem is that there doesn't appear to be any way to scroll or expand the comment to view the full size.

Picture attached for reference:

I just thought this was cool and wanted to share it here. It looks like there's an instance up now, go add stuff to it if you can!

Hi, I'd like some recommendations for recording gameplay clips on my Ayn Odin 2 max.

I'm really only looking for something that saves a cache of about 5~10 minutes worth of recording in the background, that allows me to save it to a default location if I choose to save it. Is there something like this for android?

Anyone else running into this issue?

Upon going back to the feed page from a post page, the feed tends to load in at a different point (higher up) than where it was before. This results in a lot of repetitive scrolling.

Also, I noticed that (when new content is being loaded in?) the scrolling gets stuck in the same spot. Scrolling kind of just glitches on the same spot until it gets past it and then resumes as normal.

Hey, I noticed that the expand/collapse button tends to block text sometimes. Is there any way that it could be made transparent when hovering the mouse over it? Also, the hover text should say 'collapse' when the text has already been expanded.

These are often found on vacuum cleaner cables and such.

I'd like one to clip onto a two wire (two pronged, no ground) flat cable like this one:

Anything like that exist yet?

Does anyone have tips for redirecting YouTube links on mobile android?

I tried Firefox with libredirect addon, but it doesn't want to work for some reason.

I'm having some trouble finding an answer for this. While in the gaming mode, just navigating the regular steam ui, the default behavior of the left trackpad acts as a redundant directional pad. I'd like that trackpad to control the screen navigation behavior instead (swipe up/down to scroll vertically, swipe left/right to scroll horizontally).

Is there an easy way to do this?

I have a 'screenshots' folder on my laptop. I would like my steam deck to send the screenshots that I take on it to that same folder, or have it synchronized somehow. What is the best or most intuitive way of accomplishing this?

I would like to know if there's any (automatic) ways of translating the instances which are not my native language (English). I think many of them would be well worth participating in, or at least being able to lightly skim over.

I know many get annoyed by them, and end up filtering/blocking. I don't find myself annoyed by them or anything like that, I just feel like I'm missing out a bit. I think if there was an easier and more inclusive way to join in with these communities it would be a great benefit to the fediverse.
