It worked.
Untill the war in Ukraine. That wiped out any consumer gains and then some as we got hit with the full force of the exploded gasprices.

You know I find the nominal political viewpoints of conservatives(small c) just. Not exactly my cup of tea but like supporting armed gay married couples with a marihuana growing business while having a long term view towards a responasible budget is an entirely valid and respectable #policy position to have.
